The Undocumented Youth Empowerment Initiative (UYEI) seeks to help Arizona Undocumented youth find pathways beyond high school. UYEI will provide year-round support and online programming to Undocumented youth through consistent spaces where they can build community and have the opportunity to thrive.
Undocumented youth who participate will have access to our discord server, student support team and workshops in the following areas:
1) Scholarship writing and college success
2) Leadership growth and social awareness
3) How to earn money and navigate employment possibilities
4) Strategies for self-care and wellbeingTo be part of the Undocumented Youth Empowerment Intuitive (UYEI) you must:
1) Be an undocumented youth (with DACA/without DACA/with Temporary Protected Status)
(international students are not eligible for the program)
2) Live in Arizona
3) Be available and committed to attending 2-3 workshops throughout the year.
All Undocumented youth in Arizona are eligible to apply. After you submit your application, someone in our team will contact you to finalize the process.
* Calls are made every Monday morning and Wednesday afternoons
- Once accepted into the program you are required to schedule a 30 min one on one meeting with a member of the student support team, in this meeting we will discuss personal goals and how we can support you in achieving those goals.
This is
not a scholarship, it is a year-long program. UYEI can be used as an aid to obtain scholarships through the support of the student support team and year-round workshops but it is not a scholarship.

La Iniciativa de Empoderamiento de Jóvenes Indocumentados (UYEI) busca ayudar a los jóvenes indocumentados de Arizona a encontrar caminos más allá de la secundaria. UYEI brindará apoyo y programación en línea durante todo el año a jóvenes indocumentados a través de espacios consistentes donde puedan construir una comunidad y tener la oportunidad de prosperar.
Los jóvenes indocumentados que participen tendrán acceso a nuestro servidor de Discord, equipo de apoyo estudiantil y talleres en las siguientes áreas:
1) Redacción de becas y éxito universitario
2) Crecimiento del liderazgo y conciencia social
3) Cómo ganar dinero y navegar posibilidades de empleo
4) Estrategias de autocuidado y bienestarINFORMACIÓN DE PROGRAMA:Para ser parte del Empoderamiento Intuitivo de Jóvenes Indocumentados (UYEI) debes:
1) Ser un joven Indocumentado (con DACA/sin DACA/con Estatus de Protección Temporal)
2) Vivir en Arizona
3) Estar disponible y comprometido a asistir a 2 o 3 talleres durante todo el año.
Todos los jóvenes Indocumentados en Arizona son elegibles para aplicar. Después de enviar su solicitud, alguien de nuestro equipo se comunicará con usted para finalizar el proceso.
*Las llamadas se realizan todos los Lunes por la mañana y Miércoles por la tarde.
Una vez aceptado en el programa, deberá programar una reunión individual de 30 minutos con un miembro del equipo de apoyo estudiantil. En esta reunión discutiremos sus metas personales y cómo podemos ayudarlo a lograr esas metas.
UYEI
no es una beca, es un programa de un año de duración. UYEI se puede utilizar como ayuda para obtener becas mediante el apoyo del equipo de apoyo estudiantil y talleres durante todo el año.
