Come and experience the fun as we inspire learning through instruments. Instruments are an incredibly motivating tool for any conceptual learning. Discover new and old ways to use these musical tools in your classroom. This workshop is geared towards K-5 elementary music educators.

ABOUT THE PRESNETER:  Jennifer Bhooshan is the winner of the Illinois’ Southwest Regional Teacher of the Year award, Jennifer has been educating elementary students from across the state of Illinois for 16 years. She is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University and teaches in the Collinsville Unit School District. She has completed her Orff-Schulwerk Levels I, II, and III, as well as her Masters Class in the Schulwerk. Jennifer is a board member of the St. Louis AOSA and loves to learn all styles and methodologies of teaching. She has taken her Level I training in World Music Drumming and looks forward to completing pedagogy in Kodaly and Dalcroze in the future.
