Thank you for your interest in exploring Senior Field Studies 2026! Formal applications will be available your junior year, but filling out this form will keep you in the loop until then. Here's what you can expect from your semester in SFS:

Program Insights:

• 13 days on a desert expedition
• 8 days on a farm family live-in
• 9 days on a white water rafting expedition
• A program that's physically, emotionally, and intellectually engaging

Daily Commitment:

• Classroom days span from period 1 through 6, with an expectation to stay until noon

Cost:

• The course has a tuition fee of $1,400 for the semester

Fundraising Participation:

• Students are encouraged to join fundraising activities to support the program

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for enrollment, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be an 11th grader in a Jefferson County high school.
• Maintain a positive discipline record with no current and/or chronic issues.
• Have completed all necessary courses for graduation by the beginning of the spring semester in 2025, except for those satisfied by SFS.
• Obtain parent permission.
