The Juneteenth of Thomasville-Thomas County Foundation Inc is pleased to host the 5th Annual Juneteenth Festival in partnership with No More Shackles Empowerment Mentoring Program, Inc., the NAACP Thomas County Branch, City of Thomasville & One Heartbeat, Inc. O7ur objective is to foster widespread awareness of African Americans' freedom and accomplishments, promoting ongoing self-development, and cultivating respect for African American culture and all diverse cultures. Emphasizing that understanding and appreciation for our differences stem from exposure and collaborative efforts, this celebration aims to build unity within the community.
By breaking down prejudicial barriers surrounding the origins of African Americans and their journey to freedom, this inclusive, community-wide event seeks to create a platform for unity and understanding. Additionally, the event will provide free health screenings, informative displays, and more. We extend an invitation for you, your organization, or your business to financially support this significant occasion.
FESTIVAL EVENT: SATURDAY, JUNE 22, 2024 – 11:00 A.M. – 6:00P.M.
This festival hosted by the Juneteenth of Thomasville - Thomas County Foundation Inc., and other affiliates, is a non-profit 501c-3, tax exempt organization. The Tax ID number will be provided to all participants for tax purposes. The proceeds will be used to financially support to fund Juneteenth of Thomasville/Thomas County Foundation Inc.
