What happens after you submit the Monument Marathon Adopt-A-Spot Application?
  • The KSGB Executive Director will review your application and assign you and/or your group an area along the Monument Marathon route.  
  • You will receive a contract via DocuSign.  Complete, sign, and submit the contract as soon as possible.
  • KSGB will contact you to make arrangments to get you the provided Adopt-A-Spot Tools that will allow you to complete your Monument Marathon Adopt-A-Spot litter cleanup safely and effectively. 
  • KSGB will send you the following documents via email: the Volunteer Safety Information Sheet and the Volunteer Agreement and Release of Liability Form.  The form will need to be completed by each volunteer and returned to KSGB prior to your cleanup.
  • KSGB will send you the Adopt-A-Spot cleanup report.  You must complete and submit the cleanup report after the cleanup activity.  Without the report, KSGB is unable to pay you and/or your group for your cleanup efforts.
