Parent/Guardian,

As we begin to plan for the beginning of the 2020-21 school year, we know that there are more questions than answers and that it may be too early to determine what the first day of school will look like. The District is required to develop a Phased School Reopening Health and Safety Plan based on the statewide phases of Red, Yellow, and Green determinations. We have put together a Pandemic Task Force that will use a template provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Education for how the school district will reopen schools this August. This is where you come in. We need your input and feedback on the remote learning we completed and the information for the upcoming school year as we prepare for these phased reopening plans. Please fill out the survey below. This will help us get preliminary information that the task force can use to make their plans. This is the first of several surveys that could be distributed to you this summer as information and guidelines change throughout the days, weeks, or months. Total Re-open - all students report to school everyday with some feasible mitigation (feasible social distancing, hand washing/sanitizing, optional masks, etc)

Flexible Remote Learning - Child would be at home for instruction that mirrors the classroom using an education platform (Google Classroom, etc..)

Hybrid Model - Child would be in school some days of the week and at home in remote learning that mirrors the learning in the classroom using a learning platform (Google Classroom, etc...)

ECAVA - Ellwood City Area Virtual Academy - full online option where student works at their own pace using a purchased curriculum that does not mirror the classroom environment.
