The OUTstanding Service award is given to those who identify as LGBTQ+ and have been actively involved in social justice work to create a more inclusive Dickinson community.

The recipient may have shown:

1. Proven and documented leadership and service on campus to the LGBTQ+ community at Dickinson
2. Dedication to working towards improving campus or community policies affecting LGBTQ+ identified persons
3. Solidarity and coalition building within the LGBTQ+ community

There will be one student and one faculty, staff member, or administrator selected for this award. You may nominate for both of these awards using this form. Self-nominations are accepted.

The Ally Recognition Award is given to those who have shown significant allyship to members of the LGBTQ+ community at Dickinson College.

The recipient's personal commitment to fighting oppression and prejudice should reflect a willingness to:

1. educate oneself about different identities and experiences
2. challenge one’s own discomfort and prejudices
3. learn and practice the skills of being an ally
4. take action to create interpersonal, societal and institutional change.
