Required
IMPORTANT: If you are taking the course because you intend to apply for a PEI Site Assessor License, please note that the government of PEI has minimum educational requirements to become certified. Guidelines in the past have been that a minimum of two (2) years of acceptable related post secondary education were required (for example: plumbing, construction technology, surveying, engineering technology, GIS, project management, or a university degree in science, math, engineering, etc.). If you DO NOT have a post secondary diploma or degree in a related field, suitable practical work experience may be accepted instead. It is the responsibility of each prospective attendee to confirm the acceptability of their education (or work experience) with the government. Please select the option below which best describes your situation. *
Required
If your interest in taking the course is conditional on being eligible to apply for a PEI Site Assessor License, it is your responsibility to ensure that your education (or work experience) is going to be acceptable to the Province of PEI.

If you are unsure, you should discuss your situation with Mr. Eugene Lloyd, Provincial Planning at the PEI Dept. of Agriculture and Land, and get your education and/or work experience approved in writing.

Required
Do you have access to some land (preferably within a 1 hour drive of Charlottetown) which could be used for the field (test pits) portion of the course? You may qualify for some perks if we can dig test pits on your land or that of a third party. Note: We are looking for sites with different subsurface conditions, so whether we would like to dig pits on your land will depend on the expected soil conditions.
Clear selection
If you said "Yes" or "Maybe" (that you have land which could be used for test pits), please provide some more details below such as:  What is the PID#, civic address for the property? What do you think are the soil, rock and drainage conditions? A guess is fine for now or just tell us if you don't know.
Can you provide a backhoe or excavator for digging test pits on your land or someone else's?
Clear selection
(OPTIONAL) If you have any other comments or questions, please enter them below. Thank you, we will be in touch as soon as a course is being planned.
