To participate, there is an annual membership fee of $20 a year to cover the cost of shared tools and other collective resources. Additionally, we ask that each member contributes 5 hours of volunteer labor a year to the care for the garden as a whole. Don't worry if you have little or no gardening experience!  You can learn how to garden from other members of the garden and from workshops we will offer to help train new gardeners.

Are you interested in a Garden partnership rather than a membership?  A Big Ferry Road Community Garden Partnership will cost 20 dollars, just like the membership, but instead of gardening in our community garden you will take the seeds that we provide you and a bag of peat moss and manure and plant your garden at home where it is easier for you to care for it.
