Vendor Booth Registration
Day in Damascus is a family event, featuring carnival type games and prizes for kids and parents, vendor booths, live entertainment, safety information, and food. This event raises funds that go toward park improvements and community projects.  
 
VENDOR BOOTH FEES:  $25 per booth (10’x10’ space), plus 1 (one) item valued at $25.00 or more for the raffle booth. Description, including value of raffle item, is to be submitted on your registration form.  Payment is to be submitted with registration and received no later than 10 (ten) days prior to the event.  
 
GOALS AND POLICIES: Day in Damascus is a community building, self-sustaining event that provides fun, affordable, kid-focused activities and creates a family-oriented, solicitation-free zone where community members can enjoy a day together. Local businesses and organizations help the community by volunteering to coordinate, staff, and sponsor activities and are rewarded by being positively recognized through this event. Day in Damascus proceeds benefit Damascus Centennial Park improvements and other community projects.
 
1. Vendor booths are approved commercial activities of the Day in Damascus that are in accordance with its
official Goals and Policies.
2. Avoid any behavior/activity that doesn’t support event goals.
3. All literature and written material is to be made available only within booths and given only upon request.
4. Alcoholic beverages, smoking, and pharmaceuticals are prohibited from sale, promotion, or use within the park.
5. Cash is not exchanged in the park except at the ticket booth and vendor booths.
6. All signs relating to booths must be inside allotted spaces and limited to standard poster size. Feel free to wear your logo on clothing.
7. Set up time is 8:00 a.m. on the day of the event, and you must be ready to go by 9:45 a.m. All vehicles must be removed from the park no later than 9:30 a.m.  Vehicles that are part of your booth/display will be allowed, but must be pre-approved by the Booth Coordinator.
8. You must provide your own canopy or tent (10’ x10’) and supplies (tables, chairs, etc.).  
9. Vendors must sign the Vendor Agreement document to participate, and by doing so agree that all persons representing them abide by them as well.  Failure to do so after a verbal reminder may result in being asked to leave.

The undersigned agrees to exercise the utmost care in the use of the facilities and properties of the Damascus Centennial Park,                     Clackamas Fire District – Damascus Station, and area provided. The vendor also agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Damascus Civic Club, Clackamas Fire District, their officers, employees and agents from any and all claims, actions, judgments, losses, costs (including reasonable attorney fees) and damages whatsoever, including accident, injury, or death caused to persons or property of any kind, arising out of, in connection with, or incident to, Day in Damascus, except caused by the sole negligence of the listed parties. Should a vendor at any time, occupy the premises in a manner contrary to the rules of Day in Damascus, or in any manner that is hazardous or offensive to the public or vendors. Upon request of Day in Damascus officials, vendor shall immediately cease such offending conduct. Failure to immediately conform its conduct as requested shall be cause to revoke this agreement and the vendor’s permit and vendor may be asked to leave. Upon failure to so vacate the event space, Day in Damascus officials are authorized to remove all property of vendor from the premises at the vendor’s expense. Damascus Civic Club and all others officers and officials of Day in Damascus, are relieved and discharged from any and all loss or damage occasioned by such removal. Damascus Civic Club will not be responsible for storage or safekeeping of any property so removed.
