Bear Valley Residents, Inc. (BVRI) is a non-profit corporation formed for the benefit of Bear Valley property owners and friends of Bear Valley who wish to join.
Annual dues cover the fiscal year beginning March 1, 2024, and ending the last day of February (the 28th), 2025.
Dues are $150 from March 1 - May 31 but will rise to $195 starting June 1.
Of course, if you want to donate to a good cause, we always welcome more! Because we are NOT a 501c3 organization, dues and extra donations are not tax deductible.
Becoming a member is a two-step process:
- Completing and submitting the form AND
- Paying the annual dues.
You are not a member until you complete both steps.
After entering the requested information, you must click SUBMIT.
Right after you submit your form, you will receive instructions about how/where to pay, both in a pop-up and an email. You can pay by credit card, PayPal, or check.
Please note: once you submit your form you may not go back and change your responses. If you need to do so, please email the Membership Committee at

SPECIAL SITUATIONS
Joint ownership of a single property
- Membership dues are by property, not by number of owners associated with that property. Once one owner pays the dues for a property, all owners are considered members in good standing.
- Make sure to include joint owner information in the membership form below.
- NOTE: Only the designated primary owner can vote on BVRI elections and issues. Please discuss with any joint owner as to who will be considered the "primary" owner for voting purposes.
Owners of more than one property or lot
- Owners of more than one property and/or lot who wish to pay membership dues for each property owned must fill out a separate membership for each property.
- You will get one vote for each lot paid for.
- NOTE: In order to get one vote for each property, you will need to enter a different email address for each property.
PRIVACY NOTICE: The information requested in this membership form is used for BVRI business only and is not released except to support a reciprocal information exchange agreement (mailing address only) with Alpine County, the Bear Valley Water District, and local title and real estate companies who need to have a property owner’s current mailing address.
