- Handbell Musicians of America member or sub-member in good standing (this includes ringers and directors whose choir has a full membership)
- Area 4 Resident (Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Puerto Rico, Bahamas and US Virgin Islands)
- First-time attendee of National Seminar
- Write a summary (at least 400 words + photos if possible) of their experience at the National Seminar for publication due August 15, 2020.
- A reference from a full guild member who is knowledgeable about your work with handbells and must be received by April 1, 2020 to
treasurer.area4@handbellmusicians.org - Only one scholarship will be awarded to an individual.
- A committee appointed by the chair of Area 4 will review all applications and select the recipients. Area 4 reserves all rights to award all, some, or none of the scholarships based upon the number of applicants and their qualifications. The decision of the Area 4 Board is final.
