Texas Emergency Rental Assistance Program (TERAP) Landlord Survey
The Texas Emergency Rental Assistance Program (TERAP) administered by the Harris County Community Services Department helps eligible tenants that reside in the Harris County service area and who have been economically impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic stay in their homes, by providing up to six months of rental assistance.  Assistance is available for both tenants who have been sued for eviction or tenants struggling to pay their rent.  As the landlord of the tenant, please respond to the questions below.

If your address falls outside the brown shaded area, the property may not qualify. As the landlord, you will be required to sign a Participating Landlord Agreement.  Please download the fillable form and email to csdLLDOCefax@csd.hctx.net or Fax 832-927-0539. Will you supply a copy of the executed lease with the tenant(s) or if no written lease, required certification proving tenancy and ability to provide proof of tenancy (e.g. cancelled check or money order)? *
Will you certify NON-EVICTION?  Non eviction means you will release the tenant from payment liability for the time period, waive all claims raised if there is currently an eviction case, and not evict the tenant for the period covered by the TERAP? *
Will you waive late fees/penalties and not pass court fees to the tenant? *
