Join us for a combined event with our Friends from the Washington County Family Nature Club as we head out on a Geocaching Adventure at Riveredge Nature Center. Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. It's great fun for all ages! Devices will be provided by Riveredge Nature Center. Participants will navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (hidden container) at that location. Restrooms and a drinking fountain are on site.
Please bring a small item to SWAP as you find Geocaches- great items include: key chains, a cool seashell, a bracelet, a small toy, a bouncy ball, a button, a quarter, a kazoo, a glow in the dark star, etc. NO FOOD items please for the caches.
It’s Free! But please, please, please RSVP below :)
Looking forward to seeing you there!
