A group of 17 American young men/women, all university graduates, have come to volunteer in Israel until the end of June 2021 on a MASA program and are living in Baka. They are teaching English in local schools. Most of them speak only a little Hebrew.
We have been told that they are currently spending shabbat in their bedrooms, eating cold food. They would love it if a family could 'adopt' them for 8 months and invite them for shabbat meals, when they need it. We are also looking for people who can host volunteers for just one or a few meals.
