The Edinburgh Climate Festival(ECF) is a free, family-friendly event aimed at inspiring and celebrating climate action and sustainability through community involvement. The ECF seeks to unite communities, enhancing the resilience of the climate movement in Edinburgh.
In the past years, over 10,000 attended the ECF. This year, our vision is to create a diverse and inclusive event open to everyone, and we are keen to have representation from groups such as yourselves. Here's the rundown:
What? Edinburgh Climate Festival is a market-style event with stalls, aimed to inspire climate action and sustainability through community involvement and leadership.
When? 12noon to 7.30pm Saturday 29th June, with setup from 10am to 11.30am
Where? The Meadows (Melville Dr, Edinburgh EH9 1ND. A map will be sent in due course)
Why? We expect thousands to attend, so you can share your climate related knowledge, products and achievements with the public while networking with like-minded organisations
How? All you need to do is set up a stall (including a 3x3m tent, a table and chairs), produce and present an interactive activity - this could be a quiz, a treasure hunt, a demonstration, a song and a dance, storytelling or anything that inspires climate action!
Alternatively you can host a workshop in the large marquee to reach a broader audience. Please ensure you can bring your stalls/materials for the workshop and book the marquee slot with the ECF team.
Stalls and Workshops (not including food):

£60 donation from charities and organisations with income less than £100K p/a
• £150 donation from all organisations with income between £100K and £200K p/a
• £250 donation from all organisations with income more than £200K p/a
• However, we welcome any contributions in support of the success of this year’s event, and future events under the Edinburgh Climate Festival's banner. The ECF operates on a limited budget, and contributions from all participating parties are appreciated. Your support helps make sustainability awareness accessible to everyone and celebrates climate action in our communities.
