Green Dot In-Person Training Registration
Thanks for your interest in Green Dot! We have two types of programs available.

Bystander Basics (virtual)
This is a 1.5 hour training that introduces the basic elements of bystander intervention as well as some skill building activities to engage participants in immediate action. For virtual program registration, visit:

Advanced Bystander Skills (in-person)
Advanced bystander training is 5 hours for students and 3 hours for staff/faculty. It is comprised of alternating components of brief lecture, individual reflection, small group interaction and high energy activities. It is designed with the bystander lens as the central frame of reference and guided by the question “What does the participant need to know in order to increase the likelihood of effective proactive and reactive bystander interventions in response to interpersonal violence?

You can attend either or both trainings. If you attend the advanced training first, there is no need to attend the basics training afterward.

Please note that our Green Dot team does thorough evaluation of our implementation efforts to make sure we are reaching a cross-section of the campus community. By registering for training, you are consenting to the use of your demographic data (for example, college, department, class level, student organization) for these evaluation purposes. All data is de-identified and presented at an aggregate level.
