Borrowing snowshoes to complete the race:
If you need to borrow snowshoes, you can get a pair from the box on the porch of the shed at 834 Goldfinch. After you park on the road, walk up the driveway and you will see a shed on the left with an old 'Our Village Preschool' sign. It's obvious. If you have any questions you can come to the house and if home I'll be glad to help.
By submitting this registration, I acknowledge all of the following and accept full responsibility for my health and safety while participating in the 2020-2021 Ballaine Ridge Snowshoe Classic. I will wear bright colors to ensure that I am visible to vehicles, and I will run on the left shoulder of the road facing traffic when not on (or transitioning to/from) the trail. If I will be running after 1pm or before 10am, I will bring a reliable headlamp with sufficient batteries. As a participant in this event, I must take an active role in understanding and accepting the risks, conditions and hazards. In the event the race is canceled or postponed, I will be responsible for any cost incurred to attend the race, including travel expenses. I agree to accept responsibility for my safety while participating in the event, and that my safety is not the responsibility of the race director or volunteers, Running Club North, RRCA or other sponsors of the event.
