Farm of the Child is a Catholic mission serving orphaned and abandoned children and rural, poor communities along the norther coast of Honduras. Farm of the Child's mission is: in gratitude for the great love that Jesus Christ gives us, we decide to unite ourselves and form a community to care for needy children and promote the development of a productive society of devout Christians. Farm of the Child is comprised of an orphanage, clinic, chapel, primary and middle schools, and pastoral outreach ministry, with misionero/as serving in each aspect of the project. Misionero/as make a commitment to living in community, sharing their lives with those around them, guided by 4 pillars; Community, Spirituality, Service and Simplicity.
