The Canongate Elementary PTO exists to collaborate with our families and teachers to provide a positive environment to further the education, physical and mental health, welfare and safety of our students. There is no monetary cost for membership and membership is open to parents, guardians and Canongate staff members.

As a member you will have the opportunity to share ideas and input as well as vote for fundraisers, projects, board member elections and budget. Our meetings will be held on August 14, January 22, and April 15. Please sign up and join us today!!

PTO Volunteer Opportunities

Room Parent- In need of one or two parents per classroom to be the liaison between the teacher and parents by communicating PTO information, classroom needs, and class party information.

Santa Shop (Event dates Dec. 4 - 8) In need of 5+ people to assist Santa Shop Chair in planning and running of holiday store.

Teacher Appreciation- In need of 5+ people to assist Teacher Appreciation Chair during the year to provide staff with regular snacks and lunches.

Fall Festival (Event date Oct. 20) In need of 5+ people to assist Fall Festival Chair in planning, registration, games, and decor.

Read-A-Thon (Event dates Sept. 5 - 17) In need of 2+ people to assist Read-A-Thon Chair with organizing and distributing awards.

Cub Run (Event date April 19) In need of 5+ people to help current Co-Chairs in planning fundraiser.

House Advocate Lunches (Aug. 24 & Dec. 1) In need of parents to deliver lunches to classrooms, assist with crowd control, answer office phones

End of Year Celebration- In need of parents to assist in planning of activities and games
