Jewish Mindfulness: A Take on "Na'a'say v'Nishma"
Na'a'say v'Nishma is typically translated as "we will do & we will listen/obey." In this class, we'll explore with Rabbi EBC how we might understand this text differently when we read "nishma" in light of its Hebrew root's other meaning: "we will pay attention." How might this impact our understanding of Jewish Mindfulness? What does Judaism have to say about integrating mindfulness into our daily lives?
