An integral part of Abilene ISD’s safety plan for returning to in-person
instruction was the creation of health and safety protocols designed to help
mitigate the spread of COVID-19. It was our goal to create an environment that
provides students with the most engaging instructional and educational
experiences while ensuring the health and safety of students and staff. These
protocols should be reviewed every six months to reflect the current status of
COVID-19 in our community.
The current Abilene ISD Health and Safety protocols are posted on our website, and we are requesting the feedback of all
stakeholders as we update this plan for the 2023-2024 school
year. Use this survey form to share your thoughts.
