ABOUT
The Improve Your Tomorrow (IYT) Brotherhood Action Committee (BAC) is an informed and engaged group of IYT brothers who organize and advocate to advance IYT's goal of improving life outcomes for boys and young men of color.  The BAC plays a vital role in helping develop,  introduce, and establish policies that aim to eliminate the systemic barriers that hinder the advancement of boys and young men of color. This committee is the backbone of IYT's organizing efforts and leverages the collective voice of our diverse community to influence progressive,  systematic change.

ACTION
Under the Policy and Advocacy Department of IYT, BAC members meet regularly (bi-weekly) and participate in informational sessions and organizing efforts. This includes engaging with school and district representatives, city officials, and more.

BENEFITS
Members will gain:
1) Leadership Development
2) Experience in community engagement, organizing, and advocacy, and
3) A $250 Stipend (paid quarterly)

ELIGIBILITY
The BAC is always looking for resilient, authentic, and passionate brothers who are willing to learn and advocate for IYT's mission, vision, and values.

To be eligible you must be a member of the following IYT programs:

1) IYT College Academy,
2) IYT-CC,
3) IYT-U
