You are warmly invited to join us in Venice for the world premiere of Prince Sivalo Mahlango's Weaving a Future Past:An Artist's Journey Home.
This documentary follows the home-coming journey of Bokani, a London-based artist, as she prepares for her first solo exhibition, 'Sibone Okunye' at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe. The film addresses diasporic themes of spirituality, reclaimed heritage and the role of women.
Weather-permitting complimentary drinks will be served in the Mystical Garden following the film screening.
The documentary is 28 minutes.
