Belleville Online School follows the Michigan Merit Curriculum (MMC) high school graduation requirements of 18 credits.  Students can earn ½ credit (0.5) per class per semester. 

4 Credits:  English ELA

4 Credits: Mathematics

3 credits: Science

3 credits: Social Studies

2 credits: Foreign Language

1 credit:         VPAA

½ credit: Health

½ credit: Physical Education (PE)

Students who are behind in credits can use this opportunity to catch up and earn credits.  Students are allowed to recover up to 1.5 credits (3 classes) per semester.

Students who need more than 1.5 credits to graduate will need to discuss alternative graduation dates with their counselor.

I understand enrolling my student in Belleville Online School is a semester-long commitment. BOS Students will have an opportunity to return to in-person learning at the end of the semester. Students who return to BHS will need to graduate with 22 credits.
