We are excited to offer summer enrichment programs for students entering grade 5 to 8.
July 8 to July 12, 2024: All about Boston with Ms. Austin and Ms. Kunkle
This program is perfect for the type of student who’d enjoy taking a weekend stroll through Boston, pointing out facts to their friends and family. Through crafts, skits, research, and games, this club will teach students about stops along the Boston Freedom Trail, the history of America’s oldest ballpark (Fenway), and the important people who have shaped the city we live in. Culminating in our own trip along the Boston Freedom trail, students will create a guidebook they can use in the future to become tour guides for the great city of Boston.
July 15 to July 19, 2024: El Mundo Latino with Ms. Rivas
Students will broaden their perspectives of the world and become more globally savvy during this weeklong language and culture study. Each day they will begin with intensive Spanish language immersion. They will engage in Latin American cultural studies including but not limited to: art, sports, music, food, history and geography. Vamos!
July 22 to July 26, 2024: Dancing Away with Ms. Sophie Rego, limited seats available
Dive into a week of rhythm and fun! 🌟 Calling all middle schoolers with a passion for movement and music—join us for an unforgettable experience filled with dance, laughter, and new friendships. We will explore a variety of dance styles, from hip-hop to contemporary and learn how choreography works ensuring a dynamic and engaging curriculum. Boost confidence, express creativity, and groove into the summer with daily dance sessions and exciting activities. Register now for our dance adventure!
July 29 to August 2, 2024: Music with Ms. Zani
Spend a week moving and grooving with Ms. Zani! We will put the FUN into the FUNdamentals of music. Join us for a week filled with singing, songwriting, and performing.
Time: 8 am to 4 pm
Grades: students entering 5 to 8
Commitment: Monday to Friday, choose 1 week or all weeks
Cost: $400 per week for STCPS students, $425 per week for Non-STCPS students
Lunch and Snacks: not provided by the school
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations will be accepted until June 1, 2024 without penalty. Cancellations must be submitted using the change of enrollment form on the website: https://stcps.org/summer-programming/. If the request to cancel is received after June 2, 2024, the FACTS Financial account will be charged 50% of the balance due.
Financial Aid: Limited need-based financial aid is available. If you would like to apply, please fill out the FACTS Grant and Aid application at online.factsmgt.com/aid by March 15, 2024. We do not wish to turn anyone away due to financial reasons, but this deadline will be strictly enforced.
