Trees for Kukaniloko
Established in 1960, the Hawaiian Civic Club of Wahiawa (HCCW) is comprised of members connected to and centered at wahi kapu, Kukaniloko, sacred site of State Monument Kukaniloko Birthstones.  For generations, and over the past 60 years, HCCW has been responsible for the physical maintenance and care of the grounds of Kukaniloko and sharing the history of the 36,000 acre kalana, the land division surrounding the sacred birthstones.  Kukaniloko is at the core of our existence as an organization.  It is our mission to protect, preserve and perpetuate the privileges of kapuahuawa Puuhonua Kukaniloko.

In furtherance of our mission, HCCW has embarked on an initiative to reforest Kukaniloko starting with the planting of 1,000 native trees.  To assist with our reforestation efforts and ongoing maintenance and educational activities at the site, HCCW has launched the Trees for Kukaniloko program.  For a gift of $40 or more, you can help to protect and preserve this wahi kapu by sponsoring a tree planted in your name or in dedication to another person or place.  HCCW will plant the tree(s) and you or your designated recipient will receive a digital "Certificate of Commemoration" recognizing your contribution.
