Wacky Words
Our friends in Heather Cirelli's fifth grade class made up some imaginary words that needed definitions.
Below, you will see each of those eleven words along with some of the definitions made up by students in Sarah Gaetano's seventh grade English class as well as Library staff and patrons of all ages.

Small, feeble
Weird, especially weird words that don’t make sense
Something gross, as in “Get that werty thing away from my face!!!"
Being quirky in a cute and smart way
When you feel cute and cozy
The action of blurting out words without thinking as in, “Wow, I'm being very werty today.”

When you trip over something that isn’t there
When you can´t remember what you were going to say, as in, "Oh blungle! I forgot what I was going to say."
When you bungle a lunge
A confusing situation
To stumble or fall in a ridiculous manner
In a tangle
Bundle of bananas
A large amount of something, as in, "I have a blungle of chores to do tonight." Can also mean a tremendous amount of items or creatures from the jungle.

Crouch in a dumb way
Slowly crawling
A combination of two cute things to make an even cuter thing. Ex. A dog in a doggy hot dog costume. "Let's look up some purtle combinations online!"
When something slows down too fast and its movements are choppy. "The train purtled to a stop."

A game similar to bobbing for apples but people bob for corn cobs instead
When you are dizzy you can shout, "Watch out everyone I am cobobbled. "

Eating fast and messy
All mixed up; confused; messy
Sticky situation; predicament
Multiple kabobs
A noise some turkeys make
A small, interesting thing. "Look at that little cabobble!!"
When you almost drop something but barely catch it.

Angry, frustrated; sometimes you can’t explain how much
An animal with three heads
A hug you give when you're mad.
A mean neighbor.
Hagrid’s secret brother
Even worse than furious. So, extremely mad. "How are you feeling today> Amazing, good, ok, not great, mad, awful, or hagmad?"
To go crazy in quarantine.
A witch that has anger struggles

A special basket or suitcase used for collecting berries
A Swedish jelly made from all kinds of berries; available for purchase at Ikea
A very mysterious berry that could make your dreams come true
A berry that looks like a pickle
A nickname for packing too much stuff
A person that can pack or get dressed in a matter of minutes
Can be used like the terms rats, dang it, darn, etc. "Aww packleberries!"
The extraordinary happening of being born with an extra toe, called a packleberry (John, our son has a packleberry!)

A state of being disgusted by normal things
Any object smushed to the point where you can't tell what it is, so you call it a shmauch. "That's a shmauch"
The sound mud makes when you walk in it.

How curly a person’s hair becomes during a frozen drizzle; a bad hair day
The little shiver that accompanies a small lie
Floating wad of fur that comes off when you brush your pet
A group of at least 3 science teachers playing frisbee
Off-brand Mrs. Frizzle
The noise a shaken soda makes
A clump of hair. "Uggh! (Enter sister's name) why is one of your frizbles in my sock!?"
That slight bit of hair that never cooperates. “My fribzle poked out from under my hat.”

When the pickle you are biting into squirts juice out the other end. “(My pickle squirtled, I sighed.”
