Scipreneur Challenge - Founder Participation Form
The Scipreneur Challenge, sponsored by BioTN, is a 10-week cohort-based entrepreneurship education program where real and active intellectual property from Tennessee-based research and academic institutions is commercialized in to a viable business plan! 

Cohort participants (Our Founders) create a business based on the IP, gaining hands-on experience in conceptualizing and marketing the technology. The program concludes with a pitch event to real investors and industry experts. 

The goal of the program is to launch real businesses with ongoing support from the Life Sciences Tennessee Mentor Network and other business incubation support resources.

We are looking for anyone who is interested in working with other founders to create a business based on an existing technology provided to the program.

Areas of focus include: Healthcare, Telehealth/Telemedicine, Medical Device, Pharmacology, Therapeutics, Bioinformatics, or other health and life sciences related fields.

If interested, you will need to commit to 4-5 hours of individual and group efforts per week for 10 weeks from late August to early November 2024. This includes a two-hour cohort session every week as well as the pitch event at the end of the cohort.
