Professor Volunteer Application - 2023 PAX East Pokémon Play Lab
Thank you for your interest in volunteering to help with our Play Lab booth at PAX East 2023!  The event is located in Boston, MA and will take place March 23-26, 2023.  There will be a mandatory in-person training session the evening of Wednesday, March 22nd. (around 6pm)

Professors will be helping teach the game through new and exciting methods!  This is a VERY beginner and customer facing activity so please only apply if you can bring a fun and positive attitude for the entirety of the event!

Compensation:
Professors will receive 1 booster box from a recent TCG expansion for each 6-8 hour shift.  Professors will also receive a special promotional item for each day they volunteer.

There will be a limited number of shared hotel rooms available that will need to be shared with other professors, so please no guests.

Professors will receive a stipend to help cover lunch and travel costs to the event.  Travel stipends may be limited so please do not book a plane ticket until we have confirmed the reimbursement amount if you are expecting a full reimbursement.  We will be asking for screenshots of estimated costs with acceptance e-mails.

If you live nearby and would like to drive in each day, let us know and we will be happy to help with gas/parking costs.

Volunteer staff will receive a Badge that they can use to sign up for events and browse the event during break times.

Please communicate with the Round 3 Events team if you plan to attend a specific event/game at PAX so we can plan your shift around when you want to attend an activity.

Please apply before Feb 1, 2023.
