HARO Spontaneous Workshop for Teams
INFORMATION:
Spontaneous workshop hosted by HARO with two tracks:
A) Coaches/Volunteers get trained on techniques to use with their teams then spend the morning running a spontaneous problem and providing feedback to teams.
B) Teams spend about 60-90 minutes going room to room to solve multiple spontaneous problems as practice for the tournament.
This sign-up is for Track B for Teams: whether or not your coach participates at the Workshop.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We only accept teams ON WAITING LIST now. Please do not pay a fee until you get a confirmation.


WORKSHOP DATE: Saturday, November 4th, 2023
DURATION: 90 minutes at either 10 am or 11:45 am
LOCATION: Oak Forest Elementary, 1401 W 43rd St, Houston, TX 77018

Cost: $18.00 per participating team
Registration & Payment Deadline: October 28th, 2023. First come, first served. Teams are not confirmed until they have paid their fee. 
You specify a preferred time, but teams will receive detailed schedule on October 30th.

DETAILS:
- Wonderful opportunity for Houston area Odyssey of the Mind teams to practice spontaneous using previous year's official problems!
- Limited space - REGISTER EARLY!
- Please make payment at:   https://txharo.square.site/  the same day you register.
- Each team will get a chance to practice several verbal and hands-on problems.
- Open to Division I and II competitive teams only. New teams are encouraged to sign-up soon.
- Partial teams accepted, we will need count of participants.
- Teams can register whether or not their Coach participates in the Coach Workshop.
- If the coach participates that day, teams must be escorted by a separate chaperone who will be responsible to walk the teams between rooms following a specified schedule.
