Please select the award for which you are nominating the Scouter from the list below.
Certificates of Appreciation: Given for exemplary service to youth in scouting.
The Universal Emblem:  Given for continued service to youth on an ongoing, outstanding nature.  It is normally awarded following at least three years of service.
The Unknown Scout Statuette:  Given for helping your unit and/or district to present and outstanding program to make scouting worthwhile and fun for the youth of White River District.  The award is rarely earned in less than five years of service.
The White River Outstanding Scouter Award:  Given to individuals who have performed special services to their units and/or the district over the last year.  It is given independent of tenure and other possible awards.
Family of the Year Award:  Presented to a family of Scouters who have been registered scouters usually for at least five years and have given outstanding service to a unit or the district.
If "Family of the Year" is selected please list names of those to be honored.
Heart of Gold Award:  Presented to the spouse of a currently registered scouter who has been active in Scouting for many years.  This award recognizes the spouse's support and encouragement during the scouter's tenure.
If "Heart of Gold" is selected please list name of registered Scouter spouse.
Eagle In Action Award - Given to a currently registered Eagle Scout that has continued outstanding service and leadership to his unit after reaching the age of 18.
The District Award of Merit is the highest volunteer award a district may bestow on a volunteer Scouter. It is awarded to scouters who have shown exemplary service to scouting for an extended period servicing the youth of the district.  Please us the link below to complete an application and email it to Rod Payne at  rodpayne20@comcast.net    no later than December 21, 2022.
