ACCESS Ice Sheet Model Selection Criteria
The aim of this survey is to classify the criteria that will be used in the selection process for the ACCESS Ice Sheet Model (ISM). Each criterion will be used to assess the ISM's fit for purpose against the primary objective, which is to improve decadal- to centennial-scale projections of global mean and regional sea level and climate change.

The Cryosphere Modelling Working Group (CMWG) is committed to fostering an inclusive space. We are currently developing our own Code of Ethics, and in the meantime expect everyone to follow the COSIMA community Code of Ethics during CMWG activities. 

The deadline for completing this form is 5pm Monday 11th December. We will be discussing the results at the final Cryosphere Modelling Working Group meeting on Wednesday 13th December.

  • For each point, you are invited to provide a brief justification on your classification or to add a comment if there are additional considerations that should be taken into account.
How your data will be used:
  • Responses will be shared and discussed within the CMWG and provided to the expert panel as part of the ISM selection process.
  • Names and contact information will be not be directly included in materials that are posted or made available through the ACCESS-Hive Forum, ACCESS publications, or other public web formats.
