2023 Illinois Solar Tour Host Site Application

Homes and businesses with solar and other renewable energy technology are invited to apply to be a host site on the 2023 Illinois Solar Tour!

The 2023 Illinois Solar Tour will take place on Saturday, September 30th from 10 AM to 3 PM.

Like the past few years, the Solar Tour will be in a hybrid format this year. That means that we encourage hosts to open their homes to in-person tours of their installations, but we also welcome hosts to submit short video tours of their solar installations! If you choose to submit a video tour, you will receive guidance from us on how to film your video on your smartphone after you fill out this form.

If you are unavailable for the Solar Tour, but want to show the strength of solar in your community, you can sign up as a "Walk-By Solar Home" which will let visitors know that they may stop by and view from the street, but you will not be there.

You do not need to be an ISEA member to be a host site. All are welcome to spread the word about clean energy!
