MVHS Yearbook senior quote policy

The MVHS Yearbook student editorial staff has come up with a set of guidelines that will govern the admission of senior quotes into the MVHS Yearbook. Your quote must abide by ALL of these guidelines: if it does not, the MVHS Yearbook editorial staff reserves the right to exclude your quote from the 2023/24 MVHS Yearbook.

No profanity. No vulgarity. No obscenity. No sexual innuendo, either overt or hidden. No inappropriate acronyms. No drug references, either overt or hidden. No hate speech, either overt or hidden. No negative, spiteful, mean, or hidden reference quotes directed at individuals or groups. No references to any political party, candidate, idea, organization, movement, or belief.  No comments directed either at or about liberal or conservative ideals. No negative references to any religion. No social/societal commentary that is controversial or can be construed as offensive to others.

If the 2022-23 Yearbook staff deems that any of these are present, the staff reserves the right to keep your quote outWe want a positive book that reflects our amazing community: help us make that a reality!
