Palo Verde to Greendell Training Ride Registration

This training ride meets at Palo Verde where families will check the bicycle ABCs (Air/Brakes/Chain) and then ride to the temporary Palo Verde campus at Greendell. Along the way, the group will stop for teaching points about bike safety at particular locations. There will be a bathroom/snack/play break at Greendell before returning to Palo Verde.

Parents who have attended a Bringing Up Bicyclists workshop with Maria Abilock last April/May or this September are eligible to register for a family training ride.

Anyone who has not taken the workshop must first register for the Bringing Up Bicyclists safety workshop. Contact Maria Abilock at mabilock@pausd.org to inquire about the next Bringing Up Bicyclists workshop.

Child/children will ride with a supervising parent.

Parent agrees to sign a participation waiver upon arrival before the ride begins.

The group will ride slowly with multiple teaching stops along the way.

All participating riders (adults and kids) will wear a helmet for the duration of the training ride.

Family will not participate if they have any signs of illness or have tested positive for COVID-19.

Family will cancel to free up a spot for another family, as soon as possible, if they are unable to participate. There are limited spots per ride for safety reasons.
