NW Colorado Meat Sector Feasibility Study
Thank you for your interest in the NW Colorado Meat Sector Feasibility Study.
This project is a collaborative effort between the Community Ag Alliance, Colorado State University, Northwest Colorado Development Council and Colorado Northwestern Community College. The effort has been informed by ranchers and other key stakeholders in the community through a series of NW Colorado listening sessions hosted by NWCDC. We have all heard stories and anecdotes about the challenges facing livestock producers in our area, but to be able to make regulatory or structural changes we need to do a systematic study to capture these experiences and see beyond the individual. The intent of this project is to report what we hear to business owners and policy makers to enact change. Ranchers will have access to the study to help them apply for grants and loans.
