GIPA membership is a professional and positive space for active impact practitioners to learn from each other, and build the field together. We engage on this platform with kindness and respect, and recognize the value we all bring to this work. We are continuously evolving and adapting to new norms, possibilities, and storytelling formats, which is why we value the importance of nurturing our collective growth, holding space for one another. GIPA members represent diverse backgrounds, identities and geographical locations, and we stand committed to positive social change and inclusive storytelling.

GIPA accepts applications on a quarterly basis. Our next round will be in May 2024. Please leave your details below, and we will reach out to you as soon as we re-open applications.

GIPA Membership is based on the following criteria:

1. Based anywhere in the world.

2. Be an active practitioner in the impact field (i.e. worked on an impact campaign, or have taken at least one lab, training, or course related to the film and social impact field). 

3. Have a demonstrable justice-centred practice in your media work. 

4. Align with GIPA Values as stated above.
