講者介紹:Olimpia Kot-Giletycz 是歐洲安全政策價值中心台灣辦事處的高級專案協調員。
過去七年,Olimpia在波蘭駐台北辦事處工作,負責公共和文化外交計畫。 她曾在民族學研究所擔任專案研究助理。
目前,她是國立清華大學人類學研究所的博士生。 她對台灣原住民的社群行為很感興趣。

Topic: “There is No Such Thing as a Natural Disaster”: Indigenous Approach to
Disasters.
How Indigenous peoples perceive what we call natural
disasters and what lessons we can draw from indigenous experience in terms of
disaster reduction, risk management, disaster response and recovery.
Introduction of Our Presenter: Olimpia Kot-Giletycz is a
Senior Project Coordinator at the European Values Center for Security Policy at
its Taiwan office. For the past seven years, Olimpia worked in the Polish
Office in Taipei, where she was responsible for public and cultural diplomacy
projects. She worked as a program research assistant at the Institute of
Ethnology. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Anthropology,
National Tsing Hua University. She is interested in the sociology of indigenous
people in Taiwan.
