Information
We are asking for Coach, Manager and Official expressions of interest. You may also wish to indicate interest in assisting with trials where team trials are necessary.
The coach role is well established and requires knowledge of the game or a willingness to learn, teaching skills to assist developing players, leadership and fairness with the ability to share skills, provide an environment where players will learn all aspects of the game, develop skills, friendships and progress to the best of their ability. The coach will also lead the trial process (when required) with other individuals appointed to assist.
The Manager for a particular team may not be appointed until after the team trial, however you are welcome to express interest now.
The Manager role is one of support for the coach - but also to assist with following up memberships, organising roster for volunteer duties within the club, advising team members when they play, helping at the rink when the team is playing at home venue and encouraging parents and players to assist where needed. Represent the club to team members and sharing information, asking for assistance when needed, liaise with committee, team members, coaching staff and parents as required.
