The Washington Junior Angus Association Volunteer Code of Conduct is in place to ensure volunteer conduct that reflects strong, positive values and appropriate behavior. Volunteers should conduct themselves at all times in a way that benefits their surroundings, the organization, and our industry. The signed Volunteer Code of Conduct must be submitted prior to assisting in a volunteer capacity at WJAA events and will be maintained at the Washington Angus Association. While assisting as a volunteer at WJAA activities and events, I will: • Adhere to all rules established by the WJAA and all local, state, and federal laws. • Arrive on time to meetings, events, and activities. • Be always respectful and courteous. • Respect the property and the facilities being used for an event and only use the facilities, buildings or other places deemed acceptable while at the event. • Encourage teamwork to help juniors to succeed, have fun, and cooperate in events and activities. • Represent the Angus Association, the Angus breed, the beef industry, and the agriculture industry with pride. By signing this agreement, I acknowledge I have read and understand the WJAA Volunteer Code of Conduct and pledge to uphold the values of our organization. *
