2020-2021 First Year Ambassadors Application
Program description:
The First Year Ambassador program, also known as FYA program, is SGA’s year-long leadership development program that is open to freshmen and first year transfer students. This program teaches students the structure of the Student Government Association at UMBC. Furthermore, it teaches students how to take advantage of the agency that they have on campus and how to properly navigate fixing any problem that they may identify.

The FYA program has traditionally met weekly on Fridays.

*Due to COVID-19 the program will be moved to an entirely online format. With this being said I'm going to work my hardest to keep the program fun and exciting. SGA is going to need leadership once we return to campus (in full capacity) and I hope I can give you the tools you'll need to take up those positions confidently.
