AN IMPORTANT UPDATE

Some things are out of our control and once more, it is scheduled to rain on our proposed workshop date. Alas! 

But this actually makes for an exciting opportunity. We’ll be combining forces with the Growing with the Land workshop and blending our programming for one glorious earth-based meditation, writing, open mic and poetry reading extravaganza. Here’s what you can expect:

New New Date: ✨Sunday, October 8✨

11:30 am - 12 pm Meditation

12:00 - 1:00 pm Writing Workshop

1:00 - 1:30 pm Open Mic

1:30 - 2:00 pm Featured poets Suzanne Highland, Jasmine Reid, and Cat Wei will read their own nature poems

*Still bring a Polaroid/instant camera if you have one!

Everyone coming to the 462 Halsey Community Farm is wonderful, unique, full of potential and deserving of respect and safety. Failure to comply wit this policy may result in removal from the farm.

This is event is a part of a large project titled I AM THE EARTH AND THE EARTH IS ME, facilitated by artist Jessica Angima. It is a part of the 2023 More Art Engaging Artists Fellowship.
