The FWMoA Teen Council is led by and for area youth, providing opportunities for leadership and learning through arts programming. As an ambassador of the museum, you’ll collaborate with your fellow council members to develop creative, community-oriented projects and events. You’ll also meet with staff and artists to learn more about careers in the arts and museums.
Council size will be capped at 15 members, grades 9-12. If selected, you'll be required to:
- Serve through the 2023-2024 school year, with the option of continuing through the following summer.
- Attend meetings on Thursday evenings (usually first Thursdays; possibly more often leading up to events).
- Attend occasional weekend and evening events (planned in advance).
