Wells Community  Network sign-up
Wells Community Network (formerly Wells Coronavirus Network) was formed  at the start of the Pandemic to link the help being offered by local organisations and to create a body of volunteers to support the local community. We work with the Connect Centre,  the GP Surgeries, Health Connections Mendip,  The Lawrence Centre, The Vineyard Foodbank,  Neighbourhood Watch,  Rotary, The Lions, Sustainable Wells,  Project Factory CIC and members of Wells City and Mendip District Councils amongst others. WCN is not affiliated to any  political party or group.  

We are gathering a database of volunteers to help out in Wells and the surrounding villages.  We currently run a helpline six days a week and a marshalling group to support vaccinations amongst other things.


Safeguarding of those who need support is our priority and for some roles we may need you to undertake a DBS check.
