1. FORMAT. Workshop slots are 1.5 hours. You may also be invited to be part of an expert panel.

2. CONTEXT. Please familiarise yourself about the event at australasianchangedays.com and the ACDC LinkedIn page. This years theme is "Steering into and embracing complexity" We would like to explore - how might we navigate the true challenge of change with intention and direction.

Your workshop should fit into one of three elements *Be Different *Be Safe *Be Experimental

What we are marketing to our participants is "There has been a shift in the last 12 months in the conversations that are happening on the global stage which have certainly been influenced by the escalation of involvement in political and social movements as well as the increase in polarising opinions and extremism.

We would like to explore this shift with you from your role as a Change professional through our theme for #acdc2021: Steering into and Embracing Complexity and to consider how we navigate the true challenge of change with intention and direction."

3. STYLE. We are looking for interactive workshops. What we want to avoid is a focus on selling a product. This year, we are looking in particular for workshops which let participants feel, experience and explore methodologies, frameworks and ideas.

4. MONEY. In exchange for your input to the Australasian Change Days, your admission to the conference will be free plus you will get an additional free ticket for a co-presenter/client or colleague to attend. There will also be a small payment/honorarium for your workshop that will be discussed at interview. We would like all our facilitators to attend the entire conference and come for a briefing on Thursday 9th September at midday GMT+8.

5. HARVEST. We would like to harvest the insights gained though the interaction that you have with the participants. Remembering that your audience have deep expertise in the planning and implementation of change, human systems and organisational dynamics, this is an opportunity to mix your content with some very bright minds. We would like to see the results in a sharable form - perhaps as a blog, a series of sound-bytes, an image or an interview.

6. SELECTION. We may receive many more applications than we can accept. Therefore there will be a selection process. If we believe that your proposal fits, you will be interviewed by one of our team members, and a final decision will be made by the end of May/early June 2021.

7. APPLY. In our questionnaire (next section), we will ask you to answer a few questions which help the selection committee to get an idea of how your workshop fits into our whole concept. Do not send additional materials at this stage. We understand that workshops will still be in development.
