Students will depart on Monday May 13, 2024at 4:45 a.m. and return to school on Saturday, May 18, 2023. The students will have the opportunity to visit many historical monuments, museums, and exhibits. Please see the attached copy of a tentative itinerary for our trip this school year.
It is important that we know who will be attending and who is interested in chaperoning, so we can make the appropriate accommodations. The cost of the trip will be $925 for students This cost includes, hotel accommodations( 4 nights), all tours, entrance to all exhibits, all meals, t-shirts and transportation. Price is subject to change depending on number of students going. Payment schedule below.
- 1st payment- December 1, 2022- $225 nonrefundable deposit deadline
- 2nd payment -January 20, 2023- $150 payment due
- 3rd payment- February 20,2023- $150 payment due
- 4th payment- March 20, 2023- $150 payment due
- 5th payment- April 20, 2023- $250 payment due

Medication information:
If your child is currently on any medication, please read & complete the medication form ,(Spanish medication form) Students may not carry ANY medication (prescription OR over the counter. A print copy of the medication form must be completed (and signed by a doctor, only if it is a prescription) and turned into the KTEC office along with the medication. Medication should be in its original container. Medication forms can be picked up from the KTEC office. An adult over 18 must drop off medication to the office.
May 11, 2023 -luggage drop off 8 a.m.-12 p.m. at KTEC west campus. Please use door #12 which is located on the northside of building off the blacktop area.
All group fundraising or individual monies earned holding classes or workshops will be deducted from the final payment.
ALL fundraising money from KTEC events is Non- Refundable.
Please note that all past due fees including school fees, field trip fees, must be paid before students may attend the 8th Grade trip. Any monies paid for this trip will be first credited to past due fees.
Students may become ineligible for this trip due to referrals resulting in suspension, poor academic performance and poor attendance/truancies.
If we do not have your response and first non refundable payment by December 1, 2022 we will assume that your student is not attending the 8th grade end of the year trip.
