How does the Jewish holiday cycle work? What are the animating ideas, themes, and visions of its practice? Are there spaces for dissent, doubt, or disaffection in the calendar, or is practicing tantamount to “believing?” What is the basic grammar of a Jewish celebration, and how do we carry it out if we are not yet experts? These big questions and more will be the subject of our time together. Join us as a parents Chevruta* (group of learners), as we talk about parenting, Jewish Holidays, learn from the text and from each other and simply connect as a community.
*No prior knowledge is required, the opposite - we are ALL learners in this space.
