Penny Power is an opportunity to empower Escondido students to help others in any way they can. Escondido students collect loose change to benefit those less fortunate locally and around the world.
We welcome everyone who would like to suggest an international or local non-profit to be the beneficiary of Escondido's annual Penny Power campaign to do so.
The criteria for Penny Power recipient:
* Registered nonprofit organization (can be registered overseas)
* Simple message that kids can understand (e.g. buying something tangible)
* Age appropriate issues
* This year we will consider both local and international non-profits.
NOMINATIONS are DUE BY: Friday, February 7, 2020, by midnight. All Nominators (students and/or parents) will be invited to share more details about their proposed nonprofit, two minutes or less, at the PTA meeting on Monday, February 10th at 7:00pm in the Escondido Library. The PTA will vote on the nonprofit to support and funds will be collected during the month of March 2020.
