Native-level English speaking person wanted to edit and publish content for Fukuoka Now magazine, website, and SNS.

The bulk of the job entails editing, scheduling, and posting content to Fukuoka Now’s website and SNS channels. Ideal applicants will have experience in:

• editing and proofreading (English)
• experience using WordPress or other online content management software.
• intermediate or above skills using image editing software (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.)
• Japanese language (not a requirement, but an asset)
• living in Fukuoka, Kyushu, or Japan (the longer, or more knowledgeable of this area the better)
• media and publishing

In this position, you will help tens of thousands of foreigners learn more about Fukuoka and Kyushu. Every day you will help select, edit, format, and schedule text and images to be shared online or used in Fukuoka Now magazine. The position calls for strong organizational abilities and decision-making skills. Some creative flair and the ability to work well with others are helpful.

Full-time position with all basic benefits. Remuneration and terms flexible depending on current skills. The Fukuoka Now office is located in Tenjin, Fukuoka. Core hours: 09:30 ~ 18:30, Mon. ~ Friday.
